Beyond Belief is the twelfth studio album from Christian rock band Petra. It was released in June 20, 1990 by DaySpring Records. It is the band's best selling album, and considered by most their best.

Album historyEdit

Beyond Belief was recorded and mixed at Pakaderm Studio and Pakaderm West in Los Alamitos, California by Mike Mireau, John and Dino Elefante. It was mastered by Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk in New York City.

ReceptionEdit

Beyond Belief earned Petra their sixth Grammy nomination, and their first win. The album was nominated in the category of Best Rock/Contemporary Gospel Album.

The album also gave Petra two more Dove Awards in 1991. One for Best Recorded Music Packaging, and another for Best Rock Album. The title song also won for Best Rock Recorded Song.
