Album cover

Back to the Rock is the first studio album released by the incarnation of Classic Petra. It was released online and in concerts in November 2010, while the retail edition was made available on January 25, 2011.

Album historyEdit

Classic Petra came to be when several former members agreed to reunite. After some playing, every member made a list of the songs they wanted to record on Back to the Rock. After comparing them, they chose the ones with most votes.

The album was produced and financed by the band members themselves. It was recorded by John Lawry, and mixed by John Jaszcz. Mastering was done by Geoff Pesche in Abbey Road, London.
